The Global Sustainable Investment Alliance (GSIA) reports that sustainable investments considering ESG aspects worth more than $35 trillion in 2020 represent more than 35% of global assets under management in the regions GSIA covers.

The US Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (USSIF) publishes a handy guide, Sustainable Investing Basics – which includes definitions, strategies, growth rates and other helpful information. The CFA Institute of professional investment managers offers its comprehensive introduction for ESG investors, A Guide to ESG Investing for Investment Professionals and the GSI Alliance maps the ESG global market, with regional data, in its Global Sustainable Investment Review.
ESG Resources
Kiplinger’s ranked the ESG resources at the nonprofit As You Sow as #1 in the industry. The widely used Morningstar offers multiple resources, including a comprehensive ESG Screener and the insightful Morningstar Sustainable Investing Framework.
Faith-based Resources
Investopedia’s A Guide to Faith-based investing provides a quick overview of the faith-based approach, an SRI strategy based on ethics and religious guidelines. A great follow-up resource to that introduction is Zug guidelines – which covers guidance based on eight of the world’s most popular faiths.
